Privacy notes
These notes cover the Dropack iPhone app (currently in internal testing) and the dropack.app website you’re reading.
The Dropack app
- Packing and importing happen on your iPhone. Dropack doesn’t upload your photos or videos to Dropack servers.
- You don’t need to sign up or sign in to use Dropack.
- The app needs access to Photos to read the items you choose and to save the items you receive.
Where Apple is involved
- If an original is only in iCloud Photos, the system downloads it from Apple before it can be packed.
- The ZIP is sent with the system’s AirDrop. Apple handles that step, under Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
- dropack.app is a static website: no analytics, no cookies, no third-party embeds and no forms.
- It is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, your browser sends ordinary HTTP requests, so the host receives things like your IP address, the requested URL and browser details, and may keep logs under its own policies. We don’t use them to identify you.
If the app or the website changes how it handles data, we’ll update these notes and the date above.
